GSKA had 6 people compete and we brought back 12 medals. 9 Gold 1 Silver 2 Bronze
Chris Addair and Brittany Duty started things off by winning Team Kata.
Desiree Matney then won her individual kata and placed 3rd in sparring.
Brittany Duty then won both her kata and sparring sessions.
Chris Addair followed that up with a first place in kata and sparring of his own.
Ryan Justice then also took first in kata and first in sparring.
Sensei Jeremy Sloan took second in kata while Sensei Gehrig Justice took 3rd. Neither placed in sparring.
Both Brittany Duty and Chris Addair were in the running for the Grand Championship with their 3 gold medals but were out pointed because other people competed in more events and finished with more total points.
Very good showing for the GSKA.
Both Sensei Sloan and Justice also helped judge several events.
